Hydraulic Press Equipment Use

The YL gantry hydraulic press is a general-purpose prensa hidráulica, also known as a universal hydraulic press, suitable for metal material stretching, bending, flanging, cold extrusion, punching and other processes. It also suitable for calibration, press fitting, powder products, abrasive products pressing and forming, plastic products, insulating materials pressing and forming.

The working pressure, pressing speed and stroke of the machine can be adjusted within the specified parameters according to the needs of the process. The machine has an independent power mechanism and electrical system, with centralized control by push-buttons, and can be operated in adjustable, manual, semi-automatic and triple mode. Two types of pressing can be realized: constant pressure and constant stroke.

Main machine part

The main structure of the equipment has smooth appearance, no obvious concave and convex phenomenon, smooth weld polishing, no welding slag and flow scar phenomenon. The whole structure of the machine is designed by computer optimization, so that it has good strength and rigidity, while taking into account the beautiful appearance.

The fuselage is composed of longmen frame, upper beam, lower beam and upper workbench. The major structural parts are made of high quality steel plate welding. The main parts are processed by advanced equipment such as gantry milling, large floor milling and boring machine and large precision lathe to ensure the high precision of the whole machine. The body is pretightened by hydraulic nut.

The optional movable working table makes it easy to change moulds quickly, improving the efficiency and ensuring the personal safety of the operator.

Main cylinder

The inner surface of the main cylinder is ground and rolled to give the cylinder sufficient strength and stiffness. The cylinder barrel bore is of H8 grade with a surface roughness Ra of 0.08-0.16um. The piston rod is made of 45# steel forged steel, the surface is chrome-plated unilateral 0.04-0.05mm, and polished, its hardness reaches HRC45-50, surface roughness Ra value is 0.1-0.3um. This ensures reliable sealing performance and long service life.

Hydraulic control system

Hydraulic system is mainly composed of pump, valve block, liquid filling valve, cooling filter system, pipeline, etc., with the help of electrical control system to complete the hydraulic press action control. The constant power axial piston variable pump is selected for the main oil pump, which can greatly improve the stability and reliability of pressure motor operation.

The main control system adopts two-way cartridge valve integrated system. The system has a compact mechanism. It has the advantages of quick response, small internal discharge, sensitive and reliable action, large flow, strong anti-pollution ability, convenient operation and maintenance, good reliability, stable performance, long life and so on.

The filling loop of the hydraulic system uses a normally closed filling valve. When the slide block goes down fast, the oil is sucked by the filling valve, and the fast falling speed is controlled and adjusted by the cartridge valve in the oil path of the lower chamber of the oil cylinder.

Hydraulic control system of the oil pump motor unit and hydraulic control valve fast in the oil tank on the plane of the orderly arrangement. The oil tank is a steel plate welded structure, the oil tank open cover type in order to clean the tank, which is also installed with oil level oil temperature meter, air filter, etc. The oil tank comes with its own oil filtering device, and the oil tank is connected to the outside world through the air filter to ensure that the hydraulic oil is not polluted by the outside world.

The hydraulic pipeline system is sealed reliably, and the high-pressure pipeline connection adopts high-pressure flange and high-quality sealing components, which can effectively prevent leakage.

The pipelines are neatly arranged, easy to maintain and install, and there are enough anti-vibration pipe clamps, which can effectively reduce and control the pipeline vibration. 

Electrical Control System

The electrical system is divided into two parts: the power system and the control system. The power part includes the control of the total power supply, the start/stop of each motor and the protection switch, etc. The power supply adopts the three-phase four-wire system.

The control part consists of an electrical box and limit switches. The electrical box is placed on the right side of the machine and can control all the movements of the machine. The operation box is provided with the operation button of each part of the hydraulic press, the function switch, the start and stop button of each motor and the alarm, monitoring instructions, emergency stop switch, etc.

Paint protection

The colour of the paint is white or can be determined according to the colour plate provided by the customer. All parts of the press should be cleaned of oxides, welding slag, and oil stains on the surface before painting, and rust protection measures should be taken for all exposed processing surfaces before leaving the factory.

Safety Devices

The press is equipped with an emergency stop button. In the event of an abnormality, press the emergency stop button to stop the operation of the press, including the motor.

Two-hand operation button: synchronous time limit of 0.5-1S for two-hand downward movement.

Optional light curtain protection device is available.

Operating Mode

The equipment can be operated in three ways: adjustment, manual and semi-automatic, selected by the change-over switch on the operating panel, and the holding time can be preset in the range of 0-999 seconds.

Adjustment: press the press button, the slide beam moves down slowly throughout, release the button to stop the action.

Manual: Press the corresponding function button to complete an action correspondingly, lift the hand action is stopped.

Semi-automatic: press the press button to automatically complete a defined action cycle.
