As someone working with large-scale equipment, I’ve found that robot welding has revolutionized the process of fabricating components like the power transformer oil tank. In this guide, I’ll walk you through how robot soudage ensures precision, consistency, and efficiency when working with these critical structures. From setup to execution, you’ll learn why robot welding is the go-to method for creating durable, high-quality oil tanks for power transformers.

HARSLE fully automatic welding line mainly consists of a welding robot, a rotating inverted hanger, a positioner, a guide rail, etc. The line is mainly used for transformer oil tank welding work. As the process of power transformer tank requires all welds to be uniform and full to ensure sealing, the use of HARSLE fully automatic welding line can ensure high efficiency, stable quality, and can easily achieve batch welding production. 

This welding line is adopted with the SmartWeld control system. The system has two modes of intelligent programming, camera photography manually assisted identification of welding programming and intelligent weld seam recognition and weld program generation. The system will automatic photo identification of weld seam and generation of welding program, then the robot will follow the planned path to weld. There is no need to reach, and one button starts the automatic welding with the SmartWeld control system. The system is installed on the computer side and can be remotely controlled from any location via wireless routing.

The fully enclosed robot guide rail in the line is with a full servo power system and can achieve fast speed and high precision to meet the actual needs of automated production of oil tanks.

The rotating inverted hanger realizes 360 degrees rotation and up and down lifting work to meet the welding requirements of the production line.

The production line adopts a robot-specific welding machine with a new generation of the core controller to achieve precise control of the arc state and a more stable arc.

The dual chuck positioner can achieve 360 degrees arbitrary flip, the rotation speed adopts inverter step-less speed regulation, smooth operation, can present the welding seam to the ideal welding position, improve the welding accuracy, and the displacement machine fixture can be freely adjusted according to the product size, the maximum fixed size can be up to 2.5m width * 1.5m depth * 3.5m height, the maximum weight of the workpiece can be 5 tons.
