6 choses à savoir sur la presse électrique
What is a power press?
Power press is a stamping press. In national production, the stamping process has the advantages of saving materials and energy than traditional mechanical processing, high efficiency, low technical requirements for the operator, and various mold applications that can produce products that cannot be achieved by mechanical processing. Therefore, Its uses are becoming more and more extensive.

How does a power press machine work?
The design principle of the presse électrique is to convert circular motion into linear motion. The main motor generates power to drive the flywheel. The clutch drives the gear, crankshaft, connecting rod, etc., to achieve the linear motion of the slider. The movement from the main motor to the connecting rod is circular motion.
Between the connecting rod and the slider, there needs to be a transition point for circular motion and linear motion. There are roughly two mechanisms in its design, one is ball type, the other is pin type, through which circular motion is converted into slider linear motion. The punch presses the material to deform it plastically to obtain the required shape and precision. Therefore, it must be matched with a set of molds, the material is placed in between, the machine applies pressure to deform it, and the force applied to the material during processing the resulting reaction force is absorbed by the punch machine body.
What are the different types of power press?
According to the driving force:
The driving force of the slider can be divided into two types: mechanical type and hydraulic type. Therefore, power presses are divided into different driving forces according to their use:
(1)Mechanical Power Press
(2)Hydraulic Press
For ordinary sheet metal stamping, most of them use mechanical punching machines. Depending on the liquid used, hydraulic presses include hydraulic presses and hydraulic presses. The majority of hydraulic presses are hydraulic presses, while hydraulic presses are mostly used for giant machinery or special machinery.
According to the movement of the slider:
There are single-action, double-action, and three-action punches according to the movement of the slider. The only one currently used is the single-action punch press with one slider. The double-action and triple-action punches are mainly used in the extension of automobile bodies and large-scale machining parts. The number of processing is very small.
Classified by slider drive mechanism:
(1)Crank Press
The punching machine that uses the Crank Press is called the crankshaft punching machine, and most mechanical punching machines use this mechanism.
(2)Crankless Press
Crankless Press is also called eccentric gear punch.
(3)Knuckle Press
Those who use the Knuckle Press on the slider drive are called Knuckle Press.
(4)Friction Press
A power press that uses friction transmission and a screw mechanism on the track drive is called a friction punch.
(5)Screw Press
The screw mechanism used on the slider drive mechanism is called a Screw Press.
(6)Rack Press
(7)Link Press
(8)Cam Press
What is a power press used for?
Punching presses are widely used in stamping and forming of electronics, communications, computers, household appliances, furniture, vehicles, (automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles) hardware parts.
How much does a power press cost?
Power press with different configurations and specifications have different costs. Power press from different brands have different service and support, which will lead to different price. Power press from different countries have different different customs, tax rates, different shipping costs. All of these factors will result in the final price.
Ordinary Mechanical power press
This is the ordinary Mechanical power press among HARSLE Product. This is widely accepted by start up and new operators. Actually, You will get a price range of $1,300.00 to $25,000.00 from HARSLE.
Deep Throat power press
This is a deep throat power press, which has a wider range of applications than ordinary mechanical punches. You will get a price range of $2,400.00 to $18,000.00 from HARSLE.
Pneumatic power press
The braking method of the pneumatic power press is a pneumatic clutch. The main punching power comes from the impulse generated by the motor driving the flywheel and the flywheel driving the crankshaft. You will get a price range of $14,000.00 to $85,000.00 from HARSLE.
How to use the power press?
The punching and forming of the power press should follow the following procedures.
⒈When operating the press with two or more people, one person should be assigned to control the machine while maintaining clear coordination with others. At the end of each shift, the mold must be lowered, the power supply disconnected, and proper cleaning completed. All exposed transmission parts must be fitted with protective covers, and it is strictly prohibited to run or test the machine without them. If testing is required, the machine should first be run empty. During mold installation, the slider should be positioned at the bottom dead center, the closing height adjusted correctly, eccentric loads avoided, and the mold securely fastened after passing a pressure test.
⒉Attention should be paid during work. It is strictly forbidden to extend your hands, tools, and other objects into the danger zone. If there is the abnormal operation of the press or abnormal noise, stop feeding and check the cause. If the rotating parts are loose, the control device fails, and every time a workpiece is punched, the hands or feet must leave the button or pedal to prevent misoperation. Before work, check whether the punch protection device is complete and whether the flywheel runs smoothly; Whether the upper and both sides of the pedal device are protected, and whether the operation is reliable and flexible; And remove the objects that hinder operation on the work site.
⒊The blanking force must be verified, and overload operation is strictly prohibited. Before installing or removing the mold, always cut off the power to ensure safety. The mold should be fixed securely, and the combined height must be adjusted manually or step by step with controlled movements, only connecting to the machine once confirmed. Operators must remain focused—talking or distractions are forbidden. Generally, only one person should operate the press; if multiple operators are required, one must direct. During work, hands or body parts must not feed or unload; special tools must be used.
4. It is strictly forbidden to press interlayer feed materials. A second feed can only be carried out after removing pre-punched parts or leftover material. The mold installation must be checked regularly, and any looseness or slippage should be corrected immediately. Knife-edges must be sharpened before excessive burrs develop. When disassembling molds, the machine must be in a closed state. Operators should carefully maintain stamping equipment, molds, tools, and measuring instruments. After work, clean and properly store the mold and punch. During punching, because motor error rates vary with load, the electromagnetic counter on the control board can correct speed.
