How to Maintain Hydraulic Press

The hydraulic press is a machine that uses liquid as the working medium and is based on the Pascal principle to transfer energy to realize various processes. The hydraulic press generally consists of three parts: the machine body (main unit), the power system and the hydraulic control system. Hydraulic presses are classified into valve hydraulic presses, liquid hydraulic presses, and engineering hydraulic presses.

Hydraulic presses are indispensable for many forging processes in industrial production, especially for long-term use, which inevitably leads to loss, so how to clean them is very necessary.

1. Check and Clean Up

Remove the surface of the hydraulic valve of the small hydraulic press: use a brush, non-metal scraper, silk cloth to remove the surface of the hydraulic valve and pay attention to the dirt, so be careful not to damage the surface of the hydraulic valve. Do not scratch the mounting surface of the plate valve.

2. Disassembly

Before disassembling a small hydraulic machine, it is necessary to understand the structure of the hydraulic valve and the connection method between the parts. When disassembling, remember the positional relationship between the parts and make appropriate marks. Do not forcefully disassemble to avoid damage to the hydraulic valve.

3. Cleaning

Put the valve body, valve core and other parts of the small hydraulic machine on the tray of the cleaning box, heat the intrusion, and pass the compressed air into the bottom of the cleaning tank, and wash away the remaining dirt by the stirring action of the air bubbles.

4. Fine Wash

Use a high-pressure cleaning solution to clean the solution and finally dry it with hot air. Conditional companies can use existing cleaning agents, and organic cleaning agents such as diesel and gasoline can be used in individual applications. Some inorganic cleaning solutions are toxic, heating and volatilization can cause human poisoning, should be used with caution; organic cleaning liquid is flammable, should pay attention to fire prevention. When selecting the cleaning solution, pay attention to its corrosion resistance, avoid corrosion of the valve body, and pay attention to the parts after cleaning to avoid rust or re-contamination of the small hydraulic machine.
