Packing/shipment of Hydraulic Shearing Machine

All machines leaving the factory are packed with squaring arm and foot panel tied to the hand guard. Working tools and operation manual are packed into one box.

All exposed surfaces of the machine are coated with rust guard, easily removable by kerosene or solvent.

Lifting the Hydraulic sShearing Machine

Use only approved and safe wire rope to lift this machine from two lifting point which is located at both side frame of the machine.

Foundation

All our shears are designed to use the foundation. Details please check the attached foundation drawing.

Installation

This hydraulic shearing machine must be properly leveled to give a good cut. Leveling is done by putting a good leveling gauge at the plate hold down area. Always pre-prepare five pieces of base plate(dimension 150x150x9mm,minimum) below machine footing to prevent leveling screw from digging into the concrete floor.

On completion of leveling, a cement grout mixture must be packed under and around the feet to maintain correct leveled position.

Electrical installation

Be sure that the local power supply is suitable for this hydraulic shearing machine before any electrical power up. Connect power cable to the bottom left of the electrical panel.

Some machine may require N (Neutral) wire.

The following steps are to be cared for by the owner and must be carried out by specialized personnel.

Check the hydraulic shearing machine nameplate and confirm that the wiring of the machine

Corresponds to the available power in your facility.

If the required power does not meet the requirement of the machine please contact your electrical supplier.

The power incoming to the machine should be fused so that the machine can be fully disconnected for repair.

The electric drawings check the following attachments, the different controller has different drawings.

Installing a hydraulic shearing machine involves several steps to ensure proper setup and safe operation. Below is a general guide for the installation process:

1. Preparation

1.1 Site Assessment

Location: Choose a stable, level surface with enough space for operation and maintenance.

Power Supply: Ensure a suitable power supply (voltage and phase) is available.

1.2 Tools and Equipment

Gather necessary tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, levels, etc.) and safety gear (gloves, goggles).

2. Unpacking and Inspection

Unpack the Machine: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.

Inspect for Damage: Check for any shipping damage or missing parts. Report issues to the supplier.

3. Positioning

Move the Machine: Use appropriate lifting equipment to position the machine in the designated area.

Level the Machine: Use a level to ensure the machine is perfectly horizontal. Adjust the leveling feet as necessary.

4. Hydraulic Connections

Connect Hydraulic Lines:

Identify the hydraulic inlet and outlet ports.

Use high-pressure hoses to connect to the hydraulic power unit.

Ensure all connections are secure and free of leaks.

5. Electrical Connections

Wiring:

Follow the manufacturer’s wiring diagram.

Connect the machine to the power supply, ensuring all electrical connections are safe and compliant with local regulations.

6. Control Setup

Install Control Panel: If separate, mount the control panel in an accessible position.

Configuration: Set up any programmable features according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

7. Testing

Initial Checks: Inspect all connections (hydraulic and electrical) before powering on.

Power On: Turn on the machine and check for any unusual noises or leaks.

Test Operation: Perform a test run without material to ensure the machine operates smoothly.

8. Safety Checks

Safety Guards: Ensure all safety guards and emergency stops are functional.

Operator Training: Train operators on safe operation and emergency procedures.

9. Maintenance Setup

Regular Maintenance Schedule: Establish a maintenance routine based on the manufacturer's recommendations.
