Zasada działania i konserwacja prasy mechanicznej

Prasa mechaniczna is an active machine with a program control system, which can be used for processing various types of sheet metal parts. It can actively complete a variety of messy holes and shallow stretch forming at one time, and actively process different shapes with different sizes and hole distances according to requirements hole.

Working Principle of Power Press

The design principle of the power press is to convert the circular motion into the linear motion. The main motor drives the flywheel, the clutch drives the gear, the crankshaft (or the eccentric gear), the connecting rod and so on to achieve the linear motion of the slider. The motion from the main motor to the connecting rod is the circular motion.

Ten prasa mechaniczna applies pressure to the processed material to deform it to obtain the required shape and accuracy. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with a group of molds (dividing the upper mold and the lower mold), placing the material in between, and the machine will exert pressure to deform it. and the reaction force formed by the force applied to the material during processing is absorbed by the punch machine body, so that the punch moves and processes the part.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of how these machines typically operate:

Power Source: The punching machine is powered either manually, mechanically, or hydraulically. In industrial settings, mechanical and hydraulic power are most common, providing the necessary force for high-volume or high-power punching.

Activation: The process begins when the operator activates the machine, typically by pressing a foot pedal or button. This action triggers the power mechanism.

Drive Mechanism:

①Mechanical Punching Machine: Utilizes a motor that drives a flywheel, which stores rotational energy. The energy is then transferred through a clutch and a crank mechanism that converts the rotational motion into a linear motion of the ram.

②Hydraulic Punching Machine: Involves a hydraulic system where a pump drives oil into a cylinder. The pressure of the oil moves a piston, which then moves the ram directly or via mechanical linkages.

Ram Movement: The ram is the part of the machine that moves downwards with significant force. Attached to the ram is the punch—a tool made of hard material, often steel.

Punch and Die: The power press is aligned with a corresponding die, which is the hole or shape into which the material is pressed. The die is typically secured on a die table.

Punching Operation: As the ram descends, the punch presses into the material positioned on the die. The precise alignment and the shape of the punch and die determine the form and size of the hole or cut-out in the workpiece.

Material Shearing: The force exerted by the power press shears the material, creating a hole or cutting out a shape. The scrap metal, or slug, is pushed through the die when a hole is made.

Return Stroke: After the punching, the ram retracts, often aided by springs or hydraulic pressure, allowing the punched material to be removed and the cycle to start over.

Obsługa materiałów: In automated punching machines, material handling systems may feed the material through the machine, position it accurately, and remove the punched pieces, facilitating continuous operation.

Processing Method of Power Press

1. Single punch

Single-hole punching includes straight line distribution, circular arc distribution, circumferential distribution, and grid hole punching.

2.  Successive blanking in the same direction

By using the method of partial stacking of rectangle mold, it can process long hole and cut edge.

3. Multi-directional continuous punching

Using small mold to process big hole.

4. Nibbling

A small circular die is used to process the arc continuously in small steps.

5. Single forming

The processing method of one-time shallow drawing forming according to the mold shape.

6. Continuous forming

The processing methods of forming larger than the mold scale, such as large-scale louver, rolling bar, rolling step and so on.

7.Array formation

Machining multiple pieces of the same or different workpieces on a large plate.

Maintenance Points of Power Press

Maintaining a power press machine is crucial for ensuring its efficiency, safety, and longevity. Regular and proper maintenance can prevent mechanical failures and costly downtime. Here are some key maintenance points for a punch press:

1. Always keep the center column and slide guide column clean, and keep the mold bottom plate free of dirt when erecting the mold, so as to ensure the cleanness of the platform and avoid scratches.

2. When the new machine is used for one month, add butter at the flywheel and feeder. If there is no oil for a long time, it will cause internal wear of flywheel and affect the performance of the machine tool. It needs to be added for each maintenance in the future.

3. Replace the circulating oil (32 × mechanical oil or Mobil 1405) of the new machine once a month, and then replace it once every half a year to ensure the normal operation and precision of the machine.requirements hole.

4. Regular lubrication of moving parts is essential to reduce friction and wear. This includes oiling the ram, the bearings, and any gears. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the type and frequency of lubricant to be used.

5. Regularly inspect all mechanical components for signs of wear or damage. This includes checking the punch and die for any cracks, wear, or alignment issues. Replace any components that show significant wear or damage.

6. Keep the machine clean from dust, debris, and metal filings that can accumulate during operation. Build-up can interfere with the operation of the machine and potentially cause damage or inaccuracies in punching.

7. For hydraulic punch presses, check the hydraulic fluid levels regularly and look for signs of leaks or changes in fluid condition. Replace the hydraulic fluid and filters according to the manufacturer’s schedule.

8. Inspect the electrical systems and connections for any signs of wear, loose wires, or corrosion. Ensure that all safety switches and emergency stop buttons are functioning properly.

9. Check the alignment of the punch and die regularly to ensure that they are correctly positioned. Misalignment can cause uneven wear and poor quality punches. Calibration of the machine may also be necessary to ensure accuracy.

10. For CNC punching machines, ensure that the software is up to date. Software updates can fix bugs, improve functionality, and enhance security.

11. For pneumatic systems, check for air leaks and ensure that air filters and separators are clean to prevent contamination of the pneumatic system.
