Overview

CNC turret punch press is a flexible thin plate punching equipment. The machine tool works under the coordinated control of the control system according to the processing program; the sheet is clamped by the clamp and driven by the servo motor. The transmission of the ball screw causes the sheet to be positioned in the x and Y directions of the worktable. The die axis selects the die and Positioning, striking the slider against the stamping sheet of the die. The main drive system is responsible for the stamping control and power supply of the die.

The main transmission forms of CNC turret punch press are: mechanical main transmission, servo motor mechanical main transmission and hydraulic main transmission. Among them, the traditional mechanical main drive is generally a flywheel-crank slider mechanism, and the friction clutch controls the movement and stop of the slider; the traditional friction clutch is divided into: pneumatic friction clutch and hydraulic wet clutch.


In domestic CNC turret punch presses using pneumatic friction clutches, the number of strokes of the slider is less than 30 times/min, and the actual reliable use is about 20 times/min. The imported CNC turret punch press using hydraulic wet clutch has a slider stroke number of up and down 40 times/min. The turret punch press uses a friction clutch, and the number of strokes of the slider is limited, which is the reason for the inaccurate crankshaft stop position at high speed. If the crankshaft stop position is not correct, the mold cannot be selected, and the machine tool cannot continue to run.


Pneumatic friction clutch has high clutch noise, fast friction plate wear, frequent adjustment of friction plate gaps, brake springs are prone to fatigue and fracture, compressed air consumption is large, exhaust gas with oil mist is discharged, friction energy consumption and braking when friction plates are combined The kinetic energy of the crank slider mechanism is consumed in the form of heat energy. The hydraulic wet clutch does not have the shortcomings of the pneumatic friction clutch, but adds a hydraulic system, which has a complicated structure and is expensive.


Characteristics of mechanical main drive

(1) The entire flywheel-crank connecting rod mechanism of the machine tool is always in motion, and the slider moves continuously up and down, and there is no loss of coupling and braking energy when the clutch is clutched. Under the slider, there is a simple block pad and a withdrawal device. When the pad is inserted, it can strike the mold, and when the block is withdrawn, it does not hit the mold.


(2) The overload safety protection of the machine tool adopts the crushing block type, which is convenient for disassembly and assembly. Before stamping the sheet metal, the device can quickly withdraw the pad, so that the stamping action is stopped urgently.


(3) The control of the slider by the main drive of the machine tool changes from a stop to a change in the length of the slider. The change of the length of the slider from the short to the long realizes no impact and blow to the mold.
