The security door embossing is used for the front and rear panels of the security door, and the main function is to increase the security strength and aesthetics of the door (Fig. 1). The external dimensions (length × width) of the parts are 2200mm × 520mm, the material is ordinary carbon steel, and the thickness of the plate is 0.4-0.8mm. The outer dimensions (length x width) of the forming die are approximately 2400 mm × 1450 mm, and the thickness of the part is 5 to 25 mm. The forming force varies depending on the complexity of the pattern, and is generally 20,000 to 30,000 KN.

The mold structure is shown in Fig. 2. During the production, the crimping ring first presses the periphery of the part, and the pattern required by the upper and lower cores is extruded. The forming process has high precision requirements on the equipment, and when the precision is poor, the parts are prone to defects such as cracks, partial flowers, broken waves, and unevenness of the board surface.
