Hydraulic presses are machines that use hydraulic cylinders to generate a compressive force, typically used for tasks such as metal forming, molding, and various industrial applications. Understanding the key parameters of a hydraulic press is essential for safe and effective operation. Here are some important parameters and their explanations:

The slider/ ram stroke, also known simply as "stroke length" or "travel, is a critical parameter in a hydraulic press that determines the maximum distance the hydraulic ram or piston can move vertically or horizontally during a pressing operation.

The daylight refers to the maximum open space or gap between the two opposing components of the press, typically the upper and lower platens or the ram and the bed.

Hydraulic presses

The cylinder force refers to the amount of force a hydraulic cylinder generates. The force produced by a hydraulic cylinder is a fundamental parameter in understanding and designing hydraulic systems and machinery.

The L-R means the length from left to right of the workbench. And the F-B means the length from front to back of the workbench.
