●Working Principle of Hydraulic Punch

The working principle of the hydraulic press is based on the crankshaft and connecting rod mechanism, the flywheel driven by the motor, the flywheel drives the large gear through the shaft and the pinion gear, and the large gear drives the crankshaft through the clutch, and the crankshaft drives the connecting rod to make the slider work. The number of strokes per minute of the slider and the motion curve of the slider are fixed.  The press can be basically divided into bed part, working part, control part and transmission part. All components of each part are installed on the bed. Hydraulic punch presses are universal presses for sheet metal stamping, which can realize various cold stamping processes, such as punching, bending, and shallow drawing.


●Main Components of Hydraulic Press

⑴Bed part: The bed and the workbench are cast iron parts.


⑵Clutch: When the press does not work, the cam of the manipulator pushes against the tail of the rotary key, causing the crescent-shaped fox of its working part to completely sink into the semicircular groove of the crankshaft. At this time, the crankshaft is idling and the slider stops at the top dead center; When the press is working, the cam of the manipulator rotates through an angle, so that the tail of the open key is operated by the spring, and the rotary key turns 45°. The back of the working part enters any one of the three circular grooves of the middle sleeve, and the clutch is in the engaged position. The flywheel drives the crankshaft to rotate, and the slider moves up and down.


⑶Slider: In the slider, there is a pressure pedal safety device under the ball bowl that is in contact with the adjusting screwball head, which ensures that the press will not be damaged when overloaded. You can change the fuse by opening the square cover on the front.


⑷Brake band: An eccentric brake band is installed at the left end of the crankshaft. When the clutch is disengaged, the inertia of the reciprocating movement of the slider is overcome to ensure that the crankshaft stops at the top dead center.


⑸Manipulator: The mechanism that controls the clutch engagement and disengagement when manipulating. By switching the connection position of the lever of the manipulator, two actions of a single stroke and continuous stroke can be obtained.

●Installation of Hydraulic Punch

⑴After the hydraulic punch is leveled, install the anchor bolts, and refill the concrete. After the concrete is completely solidified, tighten the nuts of the anchor bolts evenly, and then use the spirit level to recalibrate the level of the workbench. The ground wire should be properly connected.


⑵The hydraulic press must be fully solidified before it can start working.


⑶After installing the hydraulic press, use kerosene to wash off the rust-preventing grease on the surface of the hydraulic press. When cleaning, be careful not to damage the surface of the paint. At the same time, clean the oil holes, the oil circuit, and the oil mark, and keep frequent cleaning. Do not use metal when scrubbing Or emery cloth.


●The Principle of Punch Clutch:

It is to convert circular motion into linear motion, the main motor outputs the force, drives the flywheel, drives the gear, crankshaft (or eccentric gear), connecting rod and other operations through the clutch to achieve the linear motion of the slider, from the main motor to the connecting rod For a circular motion. There is a transition point between circular motion and linear motion between the connecting rod and the slider. There are roughly two types of mechanisms in design, one is a ball type and the other is a pin type (cylindrical type). Converted to linear motion of the slider.


The punch presses the material to deform it plastically to obtain the required shape and accuracy. Therefore, a set of molds (sub-mold and lower mold) must be matched to place the material in between, and the machine applies pressure to deform it The reaction force caused by the force applied to the material during processing is absorbed by the punch machine body.
