A hydraulic shearing machine is a type of industrial machinery designed for cutting sheet metal and plate material with the help of hydraulic force. It utilizes hydraulic cylinders to generate the force required for the cutting action. When we choose hydraulic shearing machine, we will be confused by swing beam shearing machine and guillotine shearing machine sometimes, we can not decide which one is suitable for our working purpose, today we will share some knowledge about the differences between swing beam shearing machine and guillotine shearing machine.
Guillotine shear: 4 cutting edges for upper blade and 4 cutting edges for bottom blade.
Swing beam shear: 2 cutting edges for upper blade and 4 cutting edges for bottom blade.
Guillotine shear: upper blade moves up and down uprightly and bottom blade is fixed on the worktable.
Swing beam shear: upper blade moves in arc motion and bottom blade is fixed on the worktable.
Guillotine shear: blade gap can be set by motor.
Swing beam shear: blade gap can only be set by manual crank.
Guillotine shear: cutting angle cut be set step by step on controller.
Swing beam shear: cutting angle adjustment is unavailable.
