This is a specially developed Z-axis controller for the DELEM DA53T/DA58T CNC using the Schneider Easy Harmony touch screen and the Schneider TM200 PLC. This allows the DA53T/DA58T to be controlled in 6+1 axes! DA53T/DA58T to be controlled in 6+1 axes!
The touch screen model is HM IET6401, 7" width, 800 x 480 pixels, 16 million colours TFT colour LCD.
Introduction to the operation of DA5XT: Both single-step and multi-step procedures can be used to control the Z-axis, which can be freely set on the DA5XT system as the X and R axes. Firstly, please input the appropriate Z-axis programming position on the Harmony screen according to the length of the sheet and the position of the punch. Then select the Z-axis ID (ID value is binary, from 0000-1111) for each step on DA5XT.
The input position of the Z-axis ID is shown above
This is an example of Z-axis operation at Single-Step. (The value of Z-axis is set arbitrarily from 0000 to 1111 (binary)).
This is an example of the operation of the Z-axis in a Mutil-Step programme (the value of the Z-axis is set arbitrarily from 0000 to 1111 (binary)).
2. Introduction to operating on the Harmony screen
1) The manual operations are as follows: Manual operation is possible when the display , If is displayed, manual operation cannot be performed. Press to run Z1 or Z2 in the direction of increasing position (Y1 side in the direction of the minimum Z-axis value, Y2 side in the direction of the maximum Z-axis value). Press to operate Z1 or Z2 in the direction of position reduction, and release to stop operation. When is pressed, Z2 turns blue and Z2 can be operated manually. Press again to return Z2 to black, and Z1 can be operated manually.
2) The automatic operation is as follows: When pressing on the Harmony screen (if the oil pump is not started, it will show: ), otherwise the Z-axis will move to the corresponding position of . When pressing , the Z-axis stops running.
3) Operation Tips: If Z1 and Z2 blocking fingers (as shown in the picture) collide, please firstly observe whether the Z-axis drive has been alarmed or not, if it has been alarmed, it needs to be re-powered. Then first of all, you have to carry out “teach” operation for Z1 and Z2. Input the correct current position, and then you can proceed with the subsequent work.
4) Correct Z-axis teaching (teach) is the first prerequisite to be able to work properly. This work is the first trial of a new machine, the block refers to the accidental collision and other circumstances must be operated. The Z-axis position will be automatically memorised after the machine is powered off, and there is no need to carry out the teach operation after the machine is powered on again.
