How to Operate CNC Press Brake CT12 for Precision Bending?

Mastering the CNC Press Brake CT12 is crucial for achieving high-precision bends. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on setting up and operating the CT12 effectively, ensuring optimal bending results. Let’s dive deeper into key steps and tips for operating the CT12.
Part 1 Fill The Oil and Cable Connections
- Filling the oil tank with anti-wear hydraulic oil. And fill the oil from this port.

- No less than 2/3 of the Oil Volume Level.
- Connect the machine to the power source. And connect to a 3-phase power source.
- Switch on the power source.
- Connect the pedal switch to the machine.
- Turn on the power switch.
- Check the main motor rotating direction.
- If it rotates clockwise, then It is correct.
- If it is rotating anti-clockwise. And press the emergency stop.
- Exchange the two wires connection.
Part 2 Machine Start-up
- Turn on the machine power switch.
- Waiting For the System Loading
- The machine will find the reference point automatically.
- Start the oil pump
Part 3 CT12 Operation
- Select Graphic Programming
- Select upper and lower molds
- Input the sheet length of 1000
- Drawing according to the product and entering the length in order.
- Tape the corner to edit its angle
- Edit the bending sequence and simulate
- Rename and save the program
Part 4 Bending
- click on the button and run
- Placing the metal sheet. And the sheet will touch the stop fingers.
- Step the foot pedal.
- Complete the four steps in sequence.
Part 5 Measurement & Calibration
- Measure the first bending distance
- Measure the second bending distance
- Measure the angle
- Error was found, the actual bending angle is 89 degrees
- Click on the icon
- Click to calibrate
- Input the actual measured angle
- Calibration completed
- Bend again for testing.
- Measure again.
- It is correct now.
Part 6 Switch Off
- Step the pedal switch to lower the punch against the die.
- Press the emergency stop buttons.
- Turn off the power switch.
