How to Perform Proportional Valve Installation on Press Brake?

Proportional Valve Installation can resolve inconsistent control on your press brake. Proper installation ensures smoother operation and better control during bending, improving overall performance.

Installing a proportional valve correctly is crucial for accurate pressure control and improving overall machine performance. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure an efficient installation for optimal press brake operation.

Now, let’s explore the necessary tools and procedures for installing the proportional valve on your press brake system.

When you receive HARSLE CNC press brake machines, you will need to install the proportional valve first, because of the height of the machine, we need to disassemble the proportional valve before shipment and put the machine into the container. You can learn how to install the valve step by step easily. Here is an animation on how to install a Proportional Valve Installation. Hopefully, this will help further with the use of the HARSLE machine.

Fixing the proportional valve Use a 10mm Allen key

To fix the proportional valve on a press brake, use a 10mm Allen key to securely tighten the mounting bolts. Begin by aligning the valve with its designated position on the hydraulic manifold. Insert the bolts and use the Allen key to gradually tighten them in a crisscross pattern, ensuring even pressure distribution. Avoid overtightening, as this could damage the valve or its sealing components. Once secured, double-check for any misalignment or loose connections. Proper installation ensures stable hydraulic pressure control, leading to precise bending operations and extended valve lifespan. Always follow manufacturer guidelines for optimal performance and safety.

Install the quick-release valve using a #24 spanner

Use a #24 spanner to install the quick-release valve securely on the press brake. First, ensure the hydraulic system is powered off and depressurized for safety. Position the valve correctly, aligning it with the designated mounting port. Use the #24 spanner to tighten the valve securely, ensuring a firm and leak-free connection. Avoid over-tightening, as it may damage the valve or fittings. Once installed, inspect for any misalignment or loose connections. Finally, restart the hydraulic system and check for leaks or irregularities to confirm proper installation. Proper installation of the quick-release valve enhances system efficiency and prevents operational failures.

To connect the fuel line, use spanners #36 and #19

To properly connect the fuel line, you will need spanners of sizes #36 and #19. Begin by ensuring that the fuel line and fittings are clean and free of debris to prevent contamination. Position the fuel line correctly and align it with the corresponding ports on the proportional valve and the hydraulic system. Using the #36 spanner, hold the larger nut in place while tightening the smaller fitting with the #19 spanner. Tighten securely but avoid overtightening, as it may damage the threads or cause leaks. Finally, inspect the connection for any signs of leakage before proceeding with system testing.

Connect wires, tighten clockwise, and screw in place

To install a proportional valve on a press brake, follow these steps carefully. First, connect the appropriate wires to the valve, ensuring they are securely attached to the correct terminals as per the wiring diagram. Next, align the valve in its designated position and begin tightening it clockwise using a wrench, ensuring a firm and stable fit. Once the valve is in place, securely screw it into position to prevent any movement or leaks. Double-check all connections for stability and proper alignment. Finally, test the press brake to confirm the valve is functioning correctly within the hydraulic system.
